Marketing Manager, AXS Digital Marketing Agency

We’re currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team. The position will be based in our Los Angeles office or work remotely in Las Vegas. In this role, you’ll work closely with the department Sr. Vice President along with the entire AXS Marketing Team structure and resources to influence the sales growth of the roster clients subscribed to the AXS Agency. You will be hands on, strategic and tactical in marketing on behalf of the client. Job requirements will include email campaign set up and deployment, determining KPIs and reporting performance and ROI to the clients in an organized and predictable manner.

What you’ll be doing:
• Work with AXS management and client designee to perform analysis, research and planning to assure that the objectives and marketing budgets are met for each property. (25%)
• Be responsible for selling tickets and marketing client events. Assets include but are not limited to digital platforms/retargeting, content, and email marketing as specified and approved by the client. Marketing responsibilities may include non-ticketed events such as hotel rooms and other resort services. (25%)
• Cultivate relationships with marketing executives within targeted accounts. (10%)
• Plan and execute partnership pitch presentations and AXS Agency proposals to new and existing clients. (10%)
• Successfully addresses client concerns, questions and objections. (5%)
• Take ownership of all processes leading up to campaign execution. (10%)

Skills and experience we are seeking:
• A minimum education level of BA/BS Degree (4-year) in marketing support or a related field.
• 5-7 years of related work experience with hands on marketing.
• Strong natural selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.
• Proven track record of negotiating with the ability to improvise.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced live event environment.
• Understanding of budgeting marketing spend and identifying meaningful KPIs.
• Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies and negotiating creative solutions.
• Exemplary problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple business units to accomplish the goals of the company.
• A high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external clients.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); and ability to learn required business Systems.
• HTML / HTML5 knowledge required.
